I've been daily-driving Arch for nearly a year on my PC. It works great for what I do which is random web browsing, YouTube videos, light gaming via Steam/Proton, and some little programming experiments. As a teenager I want nothing more...
Except back in August I got a free Lenovo laptop that's ridiculously good for being free and has run Arch exclusively almost since I got it. I use it for basically everything I use my PC for as well as school assignments.
As for why I ended up on Arch-- well that's pretty simple. It's so I can say "I use Arch BTW". That and pacman is the best package manager I've used.
I hate the rabbit hole I have fallen down but the sunk-cost fallacy, pacman, and the AUR prevent me from picking up and moving to Fedora or something.
