My prusa-slicer no longer loads. I get the following error before it crashes:

Segmentation fault (core dumped) prusa-slicer test.stlPrusa slicer appears on the screen (only a portion), and then crashes. I have been doing regular updates, but no idea which one might have broken it.
How can I get prusa slicer to start working again?
$ uname -a
Linux cholo 6.18.4-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Fri, 09 Jan 2026 19:43:48 +0000 x86_64 GNU/LinuxEDIT: It definitely broke over the last 2 updates, because I remember using prusa-slicer 2 days ago without a problem.

Might be the same problem, but to my knowledge I'm not running wayland.
It's weird, I can run KiCad without any errors. But prusa-slicer still won't load. So maybe it isn't the same?

Sounds a bit like the issue reported here: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … /issues/12

I'm not understanding how to fix this, or even if it is possible. But I need prusa-slicer to work, as I am missing production time.
Can someone offer a possible suggestion please?

So if I roll it back, does this stop me from getting nightly updates? And if so, how long should I wait before trying to update to current?

@NeoGeo yes, don't update again until that bug report linked above is fixed.
But for me, I attempted rolling back to 2025/12/13 and got
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
