(solved)not work dsnote in host

In the virtual machine (virtmager, libvirt, LxQt), dsnote works fine.
In the host (xfce4), dsnote doesn't work. In the window, some menus and settings are displayed incorrectly in the upper half.
There are no error messages when running in the terminal.
I didn't find anything in the logs. i7-13700, 64 gb. There is no graphics card.

Re: (solved)not work dsnote in host

Thank you.
My guess is that the problems may be related to the Graphical user interface on the host.

Re: (solved)not work dsnote in host

Did you actually read the instructions, or just see that there were commands and just blindly ran them?

1.Weston 2.XFCE4(wayland) 3.Xfce4.
1 and 3 work.

"3" actually renders the X11 config irrelevant, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xfce#U … nd_support

Re: (solved)not work dsnote in host

@used, see whether https://deepl.com/ covers your native language.

pacman -S  xf86-video-fbdev

Don't do that.

dsnote doesn't  work.

dsnote doesn't  work

To be clear, this is on xfce4 on X11 - not on anything wayland. Right?

Re: (solved)not work dsnote in host

pacman -S xf86-video-fbdev

In xorg.log messages flashed about vbdev,
can't be found now.

Re: (solved)not work dsnote in host

The server will attempt all matching drivers but you don't want to use the vesa or fbdev drivers at all.
