Hello,
I don't know why (it seems to be after an update (don't know which one) but I can't deliver any further information since I don't know) but the window bar of my spotify client looks really ugly:

I am running spotify under gnome 49.2.
My spotify client is spotify-launcher: version 0.6.3.
Thank very much in advance for any help

Likely same as https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=310411 and likely electron some electron bug.
According to https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/spot … nt-1049487 likely caused by it now defaulting to being a native wayland client.

I had the same issue. On Arch Linux with GNOME 49.2, running Spotify via spotify-launcher resulted in an incorrect blue top bar that did not match GNOME/libadwaita styling.
I tried passing Electron/Wayland flags (--enable-features, --ozone-platform) but spotify-launcher does not allow forwarding these arguments. Forcing X11 with GDK_BACKEND=x11 also did not help, as recent Spotify versions now hard-force their own client-side decorations, even under X11. GTK/theme tweaks and related warnings were confirmed to be unrelated.
The root cause is properly an upstream Spotify/Electron change.
Final solution: I uninstalled spotify-launcher and installed Spotify from Flathub (Flatpak), which uses a different Electron runtime and integrates better with GNOME, resolving the blue top bar issue.

I had the same issue with aur/spotify package on gnome wayland, this worked for me https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/spot … nt-1052180

The same issue here. Resolved with running under XWayland. Installed spotify package from AUR and modified the desktop file:
Exec=env XDG_SESSION_TYPE=x11 GDK_BACKEND=x11 spotify --uri=%uFor spotify-launcher package, I believe, you should mess with /etc/spotify-launcher.conf or/and make separate .desktop file for spotify binary, that is downloaded by spotify-launcher. It is located here: ~/.local/share/spotify-launcher/install/usr/bin/spotify
