Irregular WiFi issues after Nov 2025, 6.17.6.arch1-1, QCNFA765, ath11k

Laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 AMD
WiFi adapter: Qualcomm QCNFA765
Kernel: 6.17.6.arch1-1

Issue manifests as NetworkManager applet showing a "connecting" spinner but not succeeding.
Occurs after suspend but not always. dmesg doesn't show anything relevant when it happens.
Reloading ath11k_pci seems to get it working for another while.

rmmod ath11k_pci
modprobe ath11k_pci

I had to reconstruct the dates from my kernel logs, bash history and counting reboots but it seems that I first manually reloaded the module on Nov 11 after booting on Nov 10.
(I'm using the line "ath11k_pci 0000:01:00.0: BAR 0 [mem 0x98000000-0x981fffff 64bit]: assigned" as indication of the modprobe here)
The closest "pacman -Syu" before that was on Nov 2. Relevant updates from there are:

[2025-11-02T02:49:00+0000] [ALPM] upgraded linux (6.16.4.arch1-1 -> 6.17.6.arch1-1)
[2025-11-02T02:49:02+0000] [ALPM] upgraded linux-firmware (20250808-1 -> 20251021-1)

dmesg reports these firmware versions:

Oct 25: ath11k_pci 0000:01:00.0: fw_version 0x11088c35 fw_build_timestamp 2024-04-17 08:34 fw_build_id WLAN.HSP.1.1-03125-QCAHSPSWPL_V1_V2_SILICONZ_LITE-3.6510.41
Nov 22: ath11k_pci 0000:01:00.0: fw_version 0x11088c35 fw_build_timestamp 2024-04-17 08:34 fw_build_id WLAN.HSP.1.1-03125-QCAHSPSWPL_V1_V2_SILICONZ_LITE-3.6510.41

Looking at linux changelogs it seems 6.17.0 (=6.17) had lots of changes in the ath11k module though they claim to be "fixing issues after suspend" rather than introducing them.
I'm kind of at a loss. I'll try stay closer to latest version for a while and report back it if seems to have resolved itself.

If anyone has advice on how to better diagnose this, let me know

Also having the same issue on 6.18.1 and using the same network card and driver on arch

The current kernel is 6.18.3

Reloading ath11k_pci seems to get it working for another while.

Also true?

Does "pci_aspm=off ath11k.crypto_mode=1" help anything?

Same issue here on 6.18.3. Only seems to happen sometimes after resuming from suspend. Nothing interesting in dmesg or system journal.

Laptop: HP Elitebook 845 G8
WiFi adapter: 01:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Technologies, Inc QCNFA765 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)
Kernel: 6.18.3-arch1-1

Same firmware:

I'll try the kernel parameters "pci_aspm=off ath11k.crypto_mode=1". It may take a while to know because it doesn't happen very frequently.
